End Times

End Times:

Titus 2:13 NLT

“...we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed.” Have you ever gone on a long trip? You are so excited to get to the place you are going that the it seemed like you were never gonna get there. You and I are on a similar trip, but our destination isn't some amusement park or beach. Our destination is HEAVEN!

Before Jesus left, he told his friends that he would be back again soon to take them with him. He was going to prepare a place for them. All they had to do was wait and be ready because no one would know the time of his return.

We are still waiting for Jesus to come back for us. We know he's coming. In the mean time we have to live lives that please him. If we do that, then we will be caught up with him in the clouds--this is called the rapture. Then we will live forever with him!

We cling to this promise--the blessed hope. He's making you a mansion. That's why it's important to live everyday according to the Bible. The drive may be long, but hold on, we're almost there!

Here are some ideas to help think about it during the week:

  • Paint a picture of how you think heaven will look like

  • Make a list of some ways you are staying ready for Jesus' return

  • On your next road trip, make a vlog about about it

Jesus is coming back for us! Are you ready?

Talk about it: Who's coming back? What is he doing while he is away? Do we know when he's coming? How do we stay ready?

Pray: Dear Jesus, thank you for being so awesome and for all that you have done for me. I know you are coming back soon, and help me to be ready. I want to live my life how you want me to. I love you with all of my heart. In your name I pray, Amen.

Tiempos Finales:

Santiago 5:15 NTV

"Una oración ofrecida con fe, sanará al enfermo, y el Señor hará que se recupere."

¿Alguna vez has ido en un largo viaje? Estás tan emocionado de llegar al lugar al que vas que parecía que nunca llegarías allí. Tú y yo estamos en un viaje similar, pero nuestro destino no es un parque de diversiones o playa. ¡Nuestro destino es el CIELO!
